24 Cornhill

24 Cornhill is a 6-floor office block in London. We maintain the whole buildings air conditioning systems. This project on the 2nd floor was to replace the existing Daikin VRV System with a Mitsubishi Heat Recovery System.

• Removal of the 18 no. existing indoor units
• Installation of the new indoor units in approx. the same position
• Re-pipe to the existing pipework
• Reconnect existing 415v 32A power supply with new isolators
• Install two new BC boxes and additional 13A spurs together with steel plates for the installation
• Run new screened control cables between roof and first floor level
• Electrical testing of power supplies and minor works certificate

Outcome:
This project was completed on time and on budget. It was over a two-week period but with the team of 7 engineers working nights to alleviate the disruption to the daytime running of the office.
